  Thanks for all of the enthusiasm this term. We successfully claimed our own space, revamped our online presence, hosted a movie night and the Second Annual Janky Art Show. You should be proud of yourselves.

2nd Annual Janky Art Show

Thank you everyone who came out to the 2nd Annual Janky Art Show. Your photo booth pictures will be up shortly. We experienced some technical difficulties at the end of the night, so bear with us on your photos! It was a major success. Art Supply Sale Success!

SOFAS sitters for all of the help with the art supply sale. We made way more money than we expected, so much so that we kept the table up for an extra day. Next on tap is the Student Art show! More to come.

Art Supply Swap!

Hello art community! Welcome back for spring term. I hope great projects and adventures await you. In order to ease the financial burden of being an art student, SOFAS has organized a consignment style art sale to take place April 10th-11th. We will be collecting items and setting up seller's accounts on Wednesday the 4th and Thursday the 5th from 1:00-5:00. Bring your gently used supplies to conference room 206 in the Marian Ady Building. 25% of proceeds to go SOFAS but the rest goes back to the seller. Hopefully we can each come away with a little cash and a lot of publicity.

Spring Forward

Happy Spring err-body! SOFAS is gearing up for some good stuff including The Student Art Show, T-Shirt Designs, our ever increasing Merch Table and soonest of all our second Jankey Art Show! We are now accepting illustrations and images to make into buttons for our merch table. Submit images to redmonde@sou.edu or hanleyr@sou.edu.
